I'm back on my minecraft grind and as much as I love mining, I also love finding things to build, sharing them with my boyfriend, and building them together in our forever world! 💗
He's such a good builder and has soo many great ideas, I take inspiration from him all the time, but here are some of the cute/aesthetic builds we're gonna try to build next (he doesn't know it yet haha)
I think an archery practice space is really purposeful, more than aesthetics!
My aim isn't very good so I need all the practice I can get!
I once build this exact picnic area and it was SO CUTE in game! I highly recommend it. It's really easy too!
The gazebo in on our to-do list. I just finished building stables for my 2 horses so the gazebo is next! We just need to find a lush cave for some decor pieces!
A boat dock is also very functional! Every world we play in has had a version of a boat dock, except never this pretty! I love the boat on the side, as if it's being 'build' and is in progress hehe!
And finally, the most aesthetic well you'll ever see!!!!
I think theres some mods for the flowers, however there are a lot of pretty non-modded, in game florals you can use and it'll be just as pretty!!
Let me know which one you're building in your world next!
... Read moreBuilding in Minecraft is one of my absolute favorite ways to unwind and unleash my creativity. While I love making my world beautiful with things like cozy picnic spots and charming gazebos, I've also been exploring more functional and unique builds lately. For instance, if you loved the idea of a garden gazebo for relaxation, you might also consider building a pergola! Pergolas offer a similar open-air feel but often with a flatter, slatted roof, perfect for growing vines and creating a shaded walkway or seating area. I recently tried building one next to my main base, and it adds such a sophisticated touch, especially when draped with glow berries or custom leaves. It’s a fantastic way to define an outdoor space without fully enclosing it, creating a more airy vibe than a traditional gazebo.
Beyond external structures, I've found a new obsession: designing interior spaces that reflect real-world comforts. Have you ever thought about building your own 'gaming setup' within Minecraft? It sounds meta, but it's incredibly fun! I recently challenged myself to construct a detailed computer desk using various blocks like smooth stone slabs for the tabletop and dark oak planks for the legs. For the 'monitor build,' I used a black concrete block with a painting or an item frame holding a map to simulate a screen. You can add buttons for keys, levers for joysticks, and even a redstone lamp to represent a glowing RGB keyboard. It's such a cool way to add personality to your in-game home, especially if you're a fellow gamer. My boyfriend and I had a blast creating a mini 'LAN party' setup in our virtual living room!
Another set of fun Minecraft builds that truly enhance an adventure are those focused on utility and exploration. While my boat dock serves its purpose, I’ve also been thinking about building a full-fledged lighthouse. Not only do lighthouses look amazing, especially when built on a coastline or an island, but they also serve as an invaluable beacon for navigating back home after a long journey across the ocean. I envision one with a redstone lamp at the top, rotating with a simple circuit to mimic a real lighthouse beam. Or, for those who love farming, a multi-story automatic farm for crops or even a mob farm can be a rewarding project. They might seem complex, but the satisfaction of seeing your resources grow automatically is immense. These types of builds truly make your Minecraft world feel more alive and functional, turning every corner into a new discovery.
What I love most about Minecraft building is that there's truly no limit to what you can create. Whether you're aiming for aesthetic beauty like a charming water well, practical utility like a robust boat dock, or even a quirky personal touch like an in-game gaming setup, every build adds to your unique story. Don't be afraid to experiment with different blocks, colors, and designs. Sometimes the most unexpected combination creates the most magical result. So, grab your pickaxe and start planning your next big project – you might be surprised by what amazing things you can bring to life in your blocky world!
