They loved them and would like to get more next time 😆😆😆

Financiers are classic French small almond cakes known for their light, moist texture and rich, buttery flavor. These delightful pastries are made primarily with almond powder, which gives them their signature nutty taste and tender crumb. Traditionally enjoyed with coffee or tea, financiers are perfect for casual gatherings or special occasions. To make perfect financiers, it’s important to use high-quality almond powder and clarified butter, known as beurre noisette, which adds a deep, nutty aroma to the cakes. The recipe uses simple ingredients—almond powder, butter, sugar, vanilla extract, eggs, and a pinch of salt—making it accessible for home bakers. Beating the egg whites separately before folding them into the batter can help achieve a light and airy texture. One great tip is to allow the batter to rest before baking, typically for about an hour in the fridge, which helps develop more flavor and a delicate crumb. Also, using a silicone mold or buttering the baking tins well ensures the financiers come out easily and keep their beautiful golden-brown crust. Serving financiers warm enhances their buttery aroma and soft texture, but they also taste fantastic at room temperature. You can customize the traditional recipe by adding citrus zest, dipping them in chocolate, or incorporating fresh berries for a modern twist. These French cupcakes pair wonderfully with a variety of hot beverages, making them a charming addition to any coffee morning or afternoon tea. Overall, mastering financiers at home not only delights your friends and family but also gives you a taste of authentic French patisserie with minimal effort.
