MADE BY MITCHELL HONEST REVIEW
Okay, so I finally caved and got my hands on the Made By Mitchell Curve Case! You've probably seen it all over your feed, and I was so curious to see if this multi-use Cream Palette lived up to the hype. After spending some quality time playing around with it, I'm ready to spill all the tea and give you my totally honest thoughts. First off, let's talk about the concept. The Made By Mitchell Curve Case is designed to be an all-in-one cream product solution, featuring shades for contour, blush, highlight, and even color correction. It's meant to simplify your makeup routine, especially for those of us who love a creamy, dewy finish. The packaging is sleek and compact, making it an ideal travel companion, which is a huge plus in my book. I picked up the original 'Light/Medium' palette, and the shade selection within it felt quite versatile for my skin tone. When I first dipped into the Cream Palette, I was impressed by the texture. These creams are incredibly soft and blendable, which is crucial for a product that's meant to melt into the skin. I’ve tried applying it with brushes, sponges, and even just my fingertips, and each method worked surprisingly well. The key is to start with a small amount, as these are quite pigmented! A little goes a long way, especially with the deeper contour shades and vibrant blushes. For contouring, the cool-toned brown shade sculpts beautifully without looking muddy. It blends out seamlessly, giving a natural shadow effect. The blush shades are gorgeous – ranging from soft pinks to peachy tones – and they give that perfect flush of color that looks like it's coming from within. I particularly love dabbing a bit on the apples of my cheeks and blending upwards. The highlight shades are more subtle, offering a healthy glow rather than an intense shimmer, which I personally prefer for everyday wear. One of my favorite aspects is the versatility. I've used the lighter shades as an eyeshadow base, and the deeper ones to define my lash line. It truly encourages you to experiment and get creative with your makeup. Longevity-wise, I found that with a light setting powder over the top, these creams lasted really well throughout my workday without creasing or fading significantly. On days when I wanted a super dewy look, I skipped the powder, and while it was still beautiful, it did wear a bit faster in my T-zone. However, it's not without its quirks. For absolute beginners, working with a full Cream Palette might feel a little intimidating. It takes a bit of practice to get the blending just right, especially if you're used to powders. Also, while the shades are beautiful, if you have a very deep or very fair skin tone, you might find some shades less impactful or too warm/cool for your preference. Overall, if you're a fan of cream products, love a natural-looking finish, and want to condense your makeup bag, the Made By Mitchell Curve Case is definitely worth exploring. It's become a staple in my routine for those 'get ready with me' moments!
