A movie that shouldn't have passed. 🧐
📗 Green Book, based on a true story in 1962, tells the true story of Don Shirley, a famous black pianist who traveled to open a show in the violent apartheid South of America.
He had hired Tony Valleonga, a white man with a waima as his chauffeur and bodyguard, both of completely different backgrounds and habits, to face a lot of racism throughout the journey.
They relied on a guide called "Green Book" to find hotels and restaurants that blacks could enter. During their obstacle-filled journey, they learned to understand and accept each other until they became great friendships. ✅
Personally, it's a must-see movie based on actual stories and issues of history during racism. But nevertheless, the movie represents a true friendship that stems from a lot of events. Look how many times it comes to mind for this movie. It also won both an Oscar and a Golden Globe. It's even more not to be missed. 😝 😝
