Watching the National Day Parade (NDP) fireworks at the Singapore Flyer truly offers a unique experience. From personal experience, I highly recommend planning your arrival between 7:55 PM and 8 PM to board the flyer. This timing ensures you'll be at the peak during the fireworks display, guaranteeing the best unobstructed view. One great advantage of watching from the Flyer is avoiding the usual crowd chaos at popular fireworks spots. Since it is located right at Promenade station, it's very accessible and saves you from the typical squeezing and long queues. Plus, if your birthday is in August, you might be lucky to grab 1-for-1 tickets priced at $20 per person, making it an affordable way to celebrate while enjoying one of Singapore's best firework displays. For those looking to elevate the experience, the Singapore Flyer also offers private dining options during the fireworks. Walking past the dining capsules, I noticed the ambiance looked truly special—perfect for anniversaries or romantic dates. It’s a wonderful treat if your budget allows. Aside from timing and ticket deals, bring a small camera or smartphone to capture the vibrant fireworks exploding against the Singapore skyline. The Flyer’s panoramic views provide excellent photo opportunities. If you’re considering other locations for viewing NDP fireworks, places like the Marina Bay area, National Gallery, or High Street Centre Carpark are popular but tend to be more crowded. Weighing crowd size, accessibility, and views, Singapore Flyer stands out as a top spot that combines comfort, value, and an unforgettable spectacle. Overall, catching the NDP fireworks from Singapore Flyer was a memorable experience that I hope more people can enjoy—especially with the affordable $20 ticket promotion during August!
