I was beyond excited when SHEGLAM sent me their new Lashlighter Up & Out Mascara to review! You know how much I love trying out new beauty products, especially when they promise to make my lashes pop. My first impression right out of the box was how sleek the packaging is, but what really caught my eye was the applicator. It has this unique bend, which instantly made me curious about how it would perform. Like many of you, I have quite small lashes, and finding a mascara that can truly reach every single one without clumping or smudging can be a real challenge. I always curl my lashes thoroughly before applying mascara to get that extra lift. With the Lashlighter Up & Out, the bent applicator made a significant difference. It’s thin and nimble, allowing me to easily maneuver it into the inner and outer corners of my eyes – places where other applicators usually struggle. I was able to coat even the tiniest lashes at the base, creating a fuller, more defined look right from the first coat. I immediately loved the precision it offered. Of course, a mascara needs to do more than just apply well; it needs to last! I put this SHEGLAM mascara to the ultimate test to see if it would smudge throughout the day, especially with the heat we've been having. I wore it for hours, through errands and even a quick workout, constantly checking for any dreaded raccoon eyes. I'm happy to report that it held up beautifully! There was no smudging, flaking, or transferring, which is a huge win in my book. It maintained its long duration and kept my lashes looking lifted and defined from morning till night. The result has been consistently pleasing, and it definitely stood up to the challenge. Another thing I was keen to test was the removal process. The product also came with a mascara remover, which is always a bonus. At the end of the day, using the dedicated remover made taking off the mascara a breeze, without any harsh scrubbing or tugging on my delicate eye area. This means less irritation and healthier lashes in the long run. Overall, the SHEGLAM Lashlighter Up & Out Mascara has truly impressed me. While I haven't tried the Lashlighter Iron Curl Mascara or the Lashlighter Mega Boost Mascara specifically, the Up & Out version seems perfect for those who prioritize definition, reach, and long-lasting, smudge-proof wear. If you're someone with smaller lashes or just looking for an applicator that ensures every lash is coated for an 'up and out' effect, I highly recommend giving this a try. It’s quickly become a strong contender for my new favorite mascara!
