One of the most cherished parts of my journey was selecting and wearing my FIU Stole of Gratitude. It's such a meaningful tradition, allowing you to honor someone special who supported you through your academic journey. I spent a long time thinking about who truly helped me get to this point, and dedicating my achievement stole of gratitude made the entire ceremony feel even more personal and profound. If you're an upcoming FIU graduate, seriously consider getting one; it's a beautiful way to show appreciation and a wonderful keepsake. When it came to planning my grad look, I wanted something that felt both elegant and comfortable, especially since I knew there would be lots of walking and photo opportunities. For my evening photoshoot in front of the iconic illuminated FIU building, I chose a chic cream dress paired with my bright white stole. The contrast against the night sky was just perfect, making the stole really stand out in the pictures. I also noticed some other FIU grads looking fabulous in stylish striped tops with white skirts, proving there are so many ways to create a stunning graduation ensemble. And for those who love a touch of high fashion, I even spotted a few 'graduation Louboutins' on campus – talk about celebrating in style! My biggest piece of advice for your outfit is to choose something that makes you feel confident, comfortable, and ready to embrace every moment of your Florida International University graduation. Of course, capturing these unforgettable moments with beautiful photos is a must! The FIU campus offers so many incredible backdrops. As you can see from my photos, the illuminated FIU building at night is absolutely magical – the lighting creates such a dramatic and celebratory atmosphere. Don't forget to explore other scenic spots around campus too, like the vibrant fountains, lush palm tree-lined paths, or unique architectural features. I had a blast experimenting with different poses, from confident standing shots to more relaxed ones sitting on a bench or even crouching on a path for a dynamic perspective.
