Evangelio del día Martes

In this gospel passage, Jesus assures His disciples that His departure is crucial because it paves the way for the arrival of the Paraclete, or Holy Spirit, who will provide guidance, comfort, and wisdom. From my own reflections, this reminds me of how sometimes change, even when difficult, brings deeper support and understanding that we might not have expected. When Jesus says, "It is to your advantage that I go away," it highlights a profound spiritual principle: letting go can open hearts to new experiences of faith and grace. The Paraclete is described as someone who teaches and reminds us of Jesus' words, which is essential for personal growth and perseverance in faith. This passage encourages believers to trust in God's timing and the unseen ways He works in our lives beyond what we immediately perceive. In daily life, this can be likened to moments when we face uncertainty or loss but later recognize these as contexts in which we receive new strength or insight. The Holy Spirit’s role as a comforter is truly powerful, reminding us that even in times of loneliness or challenge, we are not abandoned. This gospel invites readers to deepen their relationship with the Spirit and to remain open to divine guidance in all circumstances.
