Reflexión 🫶
Reflecting on the message, "I have not changed; I am still the same person," yet choosing not to call, visit, or write anymore, highlights an important emotional boundary many experience. Sometimes, maintaining our peace means letting go of old patterns of communication even if our feelings remain unchanged. This realization often comes after recognizing that continued efforts are unreciprocated—"no me responden," "no me contestan"—leading us to prioritize our own well-being. Personally, I've found that setting these boundaries is essential for personal growth. It's not about changing who we are but about protecting our energy and choosing connections that nurture us. While it can be painful to stop reaching out to people who no longer respond, it is also empowering to accept that our value isn’t diminished by distance or silence. This reflection reminds us that self-awareness and self-respect are keys to emotional resilience. Staying true to ourselves means acknowledging when to hold on and when to gently release. It’s a process that encourages deeper introspection and the courage to redefine relationships on our own terms.
