So glad you stopped by! You might have seen my initial 'get to know me' post, but I wanted to dive a little deeper into what makes me, well, me! I'm Lexi, and I'm thrilled you're here to join my journey. First off, the biggest news in my life right now: I'm 19 weeks pregnant with a baby boy! 🤰 It's been such a wild and wonderful journey so far. At this stage, I'm really starting to feel those little flutters, and it's just the most magical thing. We're already dreaming up names and excitedly preparing for his arrival – so many tiny clothes to fold! Definitely some days are easier than others, but knowing our little guy is growing makes every moment worth it. I'm excited to share more of this adventure, from bump updates to preparing for motherhood and all the joys and challenges that come with it. Outside of baby prep, my kitchen is truly my happy place! There's nothing quite like the smell of fresh cookies or a warm cake filling the house. I really enjoy baking, and lately, with all my pregnancy cravings, I've been experimenting with both comforting classics and some healthier treat alternatives. Baking isn't just about the delicious results; it's a form of therapy for me, a way to unwind and create. I love sharing what I bake with my boyfriend and friends, and I can't wait to share some of my go-to recipes and baking tips with you all soon – maybe even some easy ones perfect for a cozy night in. Fashion has also always been a huge part of my life, and it's even more fun now that I'm navigating maternity style! It's been a creative challenge finding comfortable yet chic outfits that make me feel good as my body changes. Think flowy dresses, versatile leggings, and comfy light sweaters (perfect for layering as the weather shifts!). I love finding ways to style pieces I already own and mixing them with a few new maternity essentials. I truly believe expressing yourself through clothes is so empowering, and I'm planning to share some of my favorite bump-friendly fashion finds and tips for staying stylish during pregnancy – because who says you can't be fashionable with a bump? And of course, I can't forget my two furry companions! My beautiful cats are truly part of the family and bring so much joy (and occasional playful chaos!) to our home. They're already curious about the baby's room, which is both hilarious and adorable. Life here in Iowa, where I'm from, offers a wonderful balance – I love the community feel, the changing seasons, and the peaceful moments. It’s a great place to settle down and start a family.
