Mom guilt…. That is all…
Mom guilt, a feeling many mothers experience, can significantly impact mental health and self-esteem. It's essential to understand that this guilt often arises from societal expectations and the pressure to be a perfect parent. Educating oneself about realistic parenting standards is crucial. Strategies to combat mom guilt include practicing self-compassion, setting manageable expectations, and reaching out for support from other moms. It’s also helpful to prioritize self-care to ensure you maintain your well-being. Activities such as mindfulness, exercise, and hobbies can rejuvenate your spirit and help you handle guilt more effectively. Remember, there is no such thing as a perfect mom, and embracing imperfections is part of the parenting experience. Sharing your feelings with others can provide relief and validation, so don’t hesitate to connect with supportive communities. Ultimately, acknowledging and addressing your feelings of guilt is the first step toward reclaiming your joy in motherhood. Celebrate your accomplishments, no matter how small, and recognize that your love and efforts for your children matter most.

You’re doing the best you can mama! You will figure it out i promise. I’m usually busy during the week w. Work and school but what helps me keep mom guilt at bay is having a special day with my 1 year old daughter. On Fridays, i take her to do something fun, lunch and lots of play and cuddles and it’s just us.
