GRWM
This was a makeup look I didn’t really like and honestly didn’t even record correctly to be honest!! I literally didn’t press record in certain sections and you can tell. I felt like it was just meant to not be posted, but I literally have to kill this perfectionist mindset I have, it’s just makeup. I just have to show up and create! I am so inspired and have been so in love with what I’m doing every day when it comes to makeup 🩷💜🩵

When it comes to makeup, I’ve learned that not everything has to be flawless to be beautiful. This GRWM session was a reminder that sometimes the best way to grow creatively is to embrace the imperfections. I didn’t record every step properly, and honestly, parts of the look didn’t turn out as planned — but that’s okay. Makeup is about self-expression, not perfection. I turned to ColourPop Cosmetics to explore some vibrant eyeshadow shades that really inspired me to keep creating despite any minor faults. Playing with color reminds me that makeup is a fun, evolving art rather than a strict set of rules. This experience drove home the importance of resilience in creativity: showing up even when things aren’t perfect. If you face similar struggles, try loosening your grip on perfection and focus on the joy of experimentation. It’s those unexpected outcomes that often lead to new ideas and styles. Also, following tutorials and using colorful products can help spark inspiration, giving you fresh techniques to try out. Remember, every makeup artist — whether beginner or pro — has had makeup fails. What matters most is the passion to keep improving and sharing your own unique beauty journey with confidence and authenticity.
