Improve your wellness before the what ends
With the month of the year approaching it is easy to just give up on goals we might have had. And trust me I am well aware December is a busy fun month and it might be hard to fit any in it yet here are three way you can organizes tour thoughts and prepare yourself for the new year feeling at peace and not overwhelmed.
- First I like to reflect on the last couple of months. I like to be honest with myself and see if there was any personal goal I had that I wish I would have accomplished. This doesn’t have to be anything super serious or big it can something like cleaning out my closet. Or getting rid of an old habit.
- I then like to reset. Now that I know the goal or change I would like to make I like to accomplish a precursor that can help me meet it. For example if I know I will not have the time to fully clean out my closet I will at least do one section and set a goal of donating a number of pieces.
- I follow this by refreshing. I do this by switching up a routine or changing it. For example if I know doing laundry once a week cause too much clutter than I’ll do I twice a week and do in the mornings instead of the evening. You can also buy a something new that can help you a huge your goal. Maybe you need better ways to organize your closet so buy some sort of organizer.
As the year draws to a close, it's a perfect time to embrace new wellness habits and cultivate a positive mindset. Start by reflecting on your personal journey over the past months—identify what you have achieved and what may have slipped through the cracks. This self-assessment helps in recognizing areas that need more focus. Next, resetting your goals is crucial. Choose a specific target that resonates with you and set a small precursor task to initiate progress. For instance, if organizing your closet is on your list, begin by tackling one section at a time and plan to donate items you no longer use. This manageable approach makes the task less daunting. Lastly, refreshing your routines can bring a sense of novelty and excitement. If you find your current habits are contributing to clutter, such as weekly laundry, consider redistributing chores to maintain order, or even adopting a new tool for better organization. Investing in storage solutions can significantly facilitate this process. Embracing these three steps can lead to a more peaceful and fulfilling transition into the new year, priming you for success and well-being ahead.
