2nd attempt at doing nails🌸
I can’t seem to be able to work with the acrylic.
I feel like I make it look so bulky. Then I have to file so much of it! 😩
I’ve had 0 practice besides doing my mother in laws nails once and these that I did on my sister-so that doesn’t help!
I’ll take recommendations🫶🏻
Acrylic nails can be a fun yet challenging DIY project, especially for beginners. If you're finding it hard to get the right shape or manage the bulkiness of acrylics, you're not alone! Many face difficulties during their initial attempts, primarily due to a lack of practice or guidance. Here are some tips to help you create flawless acrylic nails: 1. **Choose the Right Products**: Invest in quality acrylic systems and tools. The right brushes, acrylic powder, and liquid can significantly affect your results. 2. **Practice Nail Prep**: Ensure that your nails are properly prepared. This includes cleaning, buffing, and applying a suitable primer to enhance adhesion. 3. **Start with Thin Layers**: If you're worried about bulkiness, apply the acrylic in thin layers. Let each layer cure before adding more to achieve the desired thickness without overwhelming your nails. 4. **File and Shape**: Don't shy away from filing! A good file can help you shape and smooth the edges, allowing for a more professional look. 5. **Seek Tutorials and Community Help**: Online tutorials can provide visual guidance and tips from experienced nail artists. Additionally, engaging with communities, such as those on Lemon8, can lead to valuable recommendations and support. With a little practice and patience, you can master the art of acrylic nails and create stunning designs! Remember, every expert was once a beginner!
