Stop coveting

Dealing with feelings of envy is a common challenge, especially when it relates to something as personal and impactful as marriage. This doesn’t mean ignoring ambitions or the desire for growth, but rather recognizing that contentment isn’t found by acquiring what others have, but by appreciating what’s already present. For those struggling with envy in marriage or other areas, I recommend creating a daily gratitude practice—writing down things you appreciate about your relationship can help shift perspective. Additionally, setting realistic expectations and communicating openly with your partner about these feelings can prevent comparisons from eroding your connection.
