Living in Romans 7
This is really a vulnerable post. I love God and I am a Jesus girl. My relationship with Christ is such a valuable part of me and most important to me. I need to keep God in the center of everything in my life. I trust God with everything that I have. Yet, as of right now I feel like I’m living in Romans 7 where I know sin is wrong and sin is without God obviously but I keep making decisions then act another way.
And the craziest thing is I don’t even know how this happened where I got so discouraged and didn’t seek God anymore. I don’t know how it happened when I don’t pray as much or read my word as much when I used to. Jesus did everything for me and this is how I’m acting. That’s so disrespectful and wrong but I don’t know how to get back on track. I feel so embarrassed because I feel like I’m disappointing God.
How can I preach the gospel? Or lead people to Christ when I’m a mess? How can people look at my life and see I display Christ when I’m not even demonstrating Christ like traits?
I never felt so hurt before because Christ is my life I can’t live without Christ I really truly cannot. He brought me out of everything and made a way for me when I wasn’t deserving of it and he loves me through everything. I just want to please God and make God proud of me but I’m failing at it right now.

Living in faith can often lead to feelings of discouragement and distance from God, especially for those who deeply value their relationship with Christ. Romans 7 highlights the internal struggle between wanting to do good and facing the reality of our shortcomings. Many Christians experience a sense of guilt and embarrassment when they feel they are not living up to their faith. It’s important to remember that spiritual growth involves ups and downs, and seeking support from a community can be crucial during these times. Engaging in prayer, studying Scripture, and sharing struggles with trusted friends can help regain focus on God. Sharing personal testimonies can also resonate with others going through similar battles, fostering a supportive atmosphere for healing and understanding. Finding encouragement in Bible passages that emphasize grace, forgiveness, and God's unwavering love is essential. It reminds us that God's mercy allows us to start anew, keeping us motivated to pursue a Christ-like life. Remember, you are not alone in this journey; many are walking the same path with you.
