🛁✨Mini Self Care Haul✨🧖‍♀️

I have been using bath and body works lotion after shaving but I think it’s just making my skin worse. I’m hoping the EOS lotion is light enough and moisturizing enough.

This BYOMA cleanser has caused the LEAST breakouts for me. I’ve found active ingredients like salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide and retinol make my skin so much worse even after what is considered the “purging” period. Thanks to the melting balm, I only really break out around my period or if I have been sweating more than usual.

If you read this whole thing, thank you for taking the time to💕💕💕

... Read moreIt feels like a never-ending quest to find skincare and body care products that truly work, especially when you have sensitive skin prone to irritation or breakouts. That’s exactly why I was so excited for this mini self-care haul! I've been struggling with body lotions leaving my skin feeling worse after shaving, and harsh cleansers just making my breakouts more frequent. So, I decided to try a couple of new things in their mini formats to see if they'd be a better fit. First up, the EOS Mini Body Lotion. I've heard so much about EOS, but this is my first time trying their lotion. My hope is that it's light enough to absorb quickly without leaving a greasy film, but still incredibly moisturizing. Previously, I'd been using a popular brand's lotion after shaving, and while it smelled nice, I suspect it was clogging my pores or irritating my freshly shaven skin. I'm looking for something that truly soothes and hydrates without any adverse reactions. The mini size of this body lotion bottle is absolutely perfect for my gym bag or for travel, and it’s a great way to test it out before committing to a larger size. You can usually find EOS products at major drugstores like CVS or Walgreens, and often at Target or online retailers like Amazon. Then there’s the BYOMA Melting Balm Cleanser. Oh, how I’ve struggled with cleansers! My skin seems to react poorly to most active ingredients like salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. Even after what’s called the 'purging period,' my skin just never settles down; it actually gets worse. So, I’ve been on the lookout for a really gentle, nourishing cleanser, and this balm cleanser container caught my eye. The BYOMA brand focuses on skin barrier support, which is exactly what my sensitive, breakout-prone skin needs. I’ve found that using a melting balm is incredibly effective for removing makeup and impurities without stripping my skin. It feels luxurious to massage it onto dry skin, watching makeup melt away, and then rinse it off, leaving my skin feeling clean but never tight or dry. It’s been a game-changer, especially for those hormonal breakouts around my period or when I’ve been sweating more than usual. The effectiveness in minimizing breakouts and leaving skin clean has truly impressed me. You can often find BYOMA products at Sephora and other specialized beauty retailers, both in-store and online. Trying mini versions of products is honestly my favorite way to discover new self-care essentials without breaking the bank or ending up with full-sized products I don’t love. It’s a low-commitment way to embark on your own mini self-care haul and see what truly works for your unique skin needs. I highly recommend giving this 'SWIPE' strategy a try: testing out smaller sizes to ensure they align with your skin's needs before investing in the bigger bottles. It’s all about finding what makes your skin happy!
