My everyday makeup!
Don’t really need a lot while in NZ but these are my staples xx
Living in New Zealand, I’ve realized that a minimalistic makeup routine is not only practical but also enhances natural beauty. The key is focusing on skincare first—keeping your face well-moisturized and protected helps makeup apply smoothly and last longer throughout the day. For my everyday makeup, I keep it simple with just a few essential products. Starting with a light tinted moisturizer or BB cream helps even out skin tone without feeling heavy. I like to add a touch of concealer only where needed, mainly under the eyes or on blemishes, to keep the look fresh and natural. When it comes to the eyes, a bit of mascara and subtle eyeshadow are enough to brighten up the face. I often use neutral shades that complement my skin tone, making it suitable for both casual outings and workdays. Enhancing your eyebrows with a soft pencil or powder can frame the eyes and Polishes the whole look effortlessly. Since the weather in New Zealand can vary, a setting spray or a light powder helps control shine, especially in humid conditions. This minimal approach saves time, reduces skin irritation, and fits perfectly with an active lifestyle. What’s great about this everyday makeup routine is that it lets your natural features shine through while giving you a polished finish. Sticking to these staples ensures you look put together without spending too much time or using heavy products. It’s a refreshing way to approach beauty by embracing simplicity and skincare as the foundation.
