🎬 A brief review of The Odyssey after the end look.
At first we wanted to see this in the IMAX at Mega Bangna, but the tickets continued for almost two weeks, so we switched to the Laser instead.
The Odyssey tells the story of "Odyssius," the king of Ithaca, who faces a long and perilous journey, to return home after the end of the War of Troy. Along the way, he must find both human tests, mythical creatures, and supernatural powers, with the central goal being to return to his family.
For us, it may be because of the large number of viewers and the full tickets, so the expectation of this movie is quite high.
After watching it, we felt that the movie had a very interesting raw material - the world of mythology, travel, survival, and character bonding - many of which were made great and suitable for real theater viewing.
But at the same time, it feels like the movie has a lot of space to take us further. Many of the issues are interesting but a little tapped, so it feels like there's a lot of good stuff, but not the most practical.
It's not a fun movie, but compared to the expectations and potential of the story, we secretly felt that it would be more intense and touching.
