The amount of outfits I’ll be making with these!!!! Eek!!! So excited, especially for the fall fits! 🍂
I’ve categorized the list by 3 tags: Style, Staple, Basic.
Style is anything that “pops”. This includes things that have special cuts or colors. These items can be seen as THE focal point of an outfit (ie: the pop of color, or the special design, a complex cut/shape).
Staple is anything that can be worn in a multitude of ways, whether because of its cut or color. They can be used in lots of different outfits but I wouldn’t lounge in them (ie: typically neutral tops with simple cuts, button downs or sweaters).
Basics is anything like tank tops, tube tops, sweatshirts, and sweatpants — things that I would wear as a base for an outfit, or to lounge in. Basics are the most versatile.
1. STYLE: The pink sweater is to die for! I am so excited to make some fall, y2k vibe fits. I’m thinking Uggs, low rise boot cut jeans, earmuffs, and this sweater with a lace cami underneath. 🧸🌸
2. STYLE: This brown beaded top was a super random find! I happened to find it while roaming with my friend, and I decided to return a top I previously bought in exchange for this one. I am going to the club for the fist time this Friday (21 now woop woop!!!), so I thought it was a perfect moment. Im going to pair it with tan low rise micro shorts, a brown belt, with a black and gold y2k bag, and black moto boots! 🪩🌙
3. STAPLE: These sweaters returning had me so excited. I even sized down to get that snatched early 2000’s fall look. My older sister used to wear stuff like this and I was always jelly. I want to do a boot, with some lowrise bootcut jeans, and a lace cami (probably white) underneath, and a white puffer (more for winter but without the coat is a cute fall transitional). 🤎👜
4. STAPLE: I love this black cami top! Its flowy, its flirty, its perfect for all seasons. I could wear a sweater or zip up with it, shorts or jeans — very versatile! I love that I can do fall and summer looks. I’ll also probably find a way to style it in the winter. I’m thinking a long sleeve underneath, puffy black or white coat, with a denim mini skirt, black tights, and my fuzzy white moon boots! 🤍👓
5. STAPLE: Technically this white top is too cropped for business professional, but I’d pull off a business casual, especially with a cami underneath. I’m thinking wearing my glasses, blow out my hair (Samantha jones bob yes), with a straight leg baggy jean, and my 5 inch black point heels. 💼🖇️
6. BASIC: Just some tanks! I’ve fallen involve with these scoop neck tops, they hold the GALS perfectly, and they aren too cropped. I can style these in many different fits, comfy, casual, more fitted, however I want. I like versatile basics. ☕️🎶
Most of my wardrobe is thrifted. Usually when I thrift I go for funky finds, things I wouldn’t be able to find in store, and lots of early 2000’s. My wardrobe and style has a lot of different vibes: a mix of Samantha Jones, with maximalism (big gold jewelry), early 2000’s whimsy, twilight, oceanic mermaid, island and some business professional. It’s very versatile, and I love that I can switch the vibe for each season, while still staying true to myself! I love bouncing around, and I don’t really like sticking to singular labels or aesthetics. I’m just me :)
While my wardrobe is unique, it never hurts to go to the mall to fill in gaps with anything I find particularly cute! A lot of the times I like to find some basics, solid tops — Things like sweats, tube tops, tanks, and whatever else I think is cute. My rule is if I would buy a NON basic off of depop, I’ll buy it in the mall LOL. I had been paid for a few weeks of work, so decided to treat myself and fill in those gaps. I am sooo glad I found such cute stuff! 🩷
