As long as I’m breathing I have a reason to praise
You know, sometimes life can feel heavy. There are days when it's hard to even get out of bed, let alone find a reason to praise. But lately, I've truly been living by the belief that as long as I'm breathing, I do have a reason to praise. It's not about ignoring the hard stuff, but about shifting my perspective to see the good, the grace, and the divine hand in everything. For me, this journey of finding constant praise often starts with connecting to JESUS. His love and sacrifice are the ultimate reason. When I reflect on what He's done, it puts my own struggles into perspective. It reminds me that I'm never alone, and there's always hope. Music plays a huge role in my praise journey. There’s something incredibly powerful about worship music that can just lift your spirit. I've been so moved by artists like Brandon Lake, Chris Brown & Chan – their worship songs often speak right to my soul and help me express gratitude when words fail. It's not just about listening; it's about letting the melodies and lyrics fill you with a sense of the divine. I also find immense encouragement from community. Hearing about experiences like a HOLY SPIRIT CONFERENCE in places like St Louis Missouri, where people gather for revival and to embrace the Holy Spirit, truly ignites my own faith. These events are powerful reminders of God's presence and His desire to move in our lives. They show us that we're part of something bigger, a global family of believers who are all seeking to honor Him. So, how do I find a reason to praise in my everyday? It's often in the small things: a beautiful sunrise, a kind word from a friend, the simple act of breathing. I try to start my day with gratitude, thanking God for three specific things before I even get out of bed. Throughout the day, I consciously look for moments of grace. And when challenges arise, I try to remember that even in the midst of difficulty, there’s a lesson, a chance to grow, and an opportunity to lean more heavily on my faith. It's not always easy, and some days are tougher than others. But cultivating this mindset of praise has truly transformed my outlook. It's helped me find joy not just in the triumphs, but in the journey itself. I hope sharing my experience encourages you to look for your own reasons to praise today!
