Insulin pumps can deliver precise amounts of insulin, helping to keep blood glucose levels stable, while CGMs provide real-time glucose readings, allowing for better decision-making around food and activity. Key factors to consider when starting on an insulin pump include choosing the right type for your lifestyle, understanding insulin delivery settings, and integrating your pump with a CGM for comprehensive diabetes management. It's important to work closely with your healthcare team to tailor your diabetes management plan to your specific needs. Embracing a growth mindset can also positively affect your experience of living with diabetes, as learning and adapting become part of your daily routine. Share your own experiences and connect with others in the #type1diabetic and #health communities to find support and inspiration on this journey.

I’m glad your sugars are doing better. My A1c is down to a 7.7 currently and more my goal is to try and lose weight. It’s a struggle while taking insulin.
