Hello Kitty is known by many as a cute cartoon character who has lived for more than 50 years. She is a global brand that has consistently dominated people of all ages.

Hello Kitty was created by the company Sanrio, Japan, first designed in 1974 by a designer named Yuko Shimizu, and first released in 1975 on the first item, a "clear vinyl coin pocket" featuring a Hello Kitty image sitting beside a bottle with a goldfish jar.

Although Hello Kitty looks like a cat, in 2014 Sanrio officially announced that she is not a cat, but a "British girl," much to the confusion of fans around the world; and that there is no mouth - so that people can interpret her emotions according to their own feelings.

Hello Kitty, full name Kitty White, was born on November 1, a girl of primary school age with a hometown in London, England.

There are twin sisters named Mimmy (wearing a yellow bow on the right ear), as well as pets named Charmmy Kitty (white cat) and Sugar (hamster).

Kitty also has childhood friends in London, such as Fifi the cheerful lamb, Tippy the polite young bear, Tracy the naughty raccoon.

Hello Kitty dolls first became available in the late 70s, highlighted as small Syce dolls, later expanded into many styles of dolls such as cloth dolls, rubber dolls, figures, and dress-wearable fashion dolls.

There have also been dark versions, such as skeleton patterns or zombie patterns, for adults and collectors. There are also special anniversary collections.

There are now hundreds of Hello Kitty dolls, both commercially available and limited edition.

Hello Kitty has expanded its other product line to cover virtually every category, such as stationery, daily use, clothing and fashion, toys and figures, appliances, restaurants and cafes such as Hello Kitty Café, which has many branches around the world, and many more.

As well as being collated with many world-class fashion brands and famous artists, it reached a new generation of fans and teenagers.

Since the 1980s, the Hello Kitty character has been overseen by third-generation designer Yuko Yamaguchi, who was at the core of developing and adapting the look for Hello Kitty. Still cute, bright, even after decades.
