My Little Pony Generation 5 - A New Era of Friendship
My Little Pony is a toy and animation franchise from Hasbro starting from 1983, characterized by brightly colored pony horses, marked Cutie Mark and a story of friendship.
Following the success of Generation 4, or Friendship Is Magic, Hasbro released a Generation 5 continuation of the original story, in 2021 that told the future story several generations away, starting with the movie A New Generation on Netflix, following with the Make Your Mark series and the short episode Tell Your Tale.
The hallmark of the G5 is a brightly colored 3D image, emphasizing diversity and coexistence, featuring the protagonist team Mane 5, later Mane 6.
The main characters have Sunny (an ordinary horse becomes an Alicorn in the movie), Izzy (a cheerful unicorn), Hitch (a townspeople favorite sheriff), Pipp (a singer princess), Zipp (a wading line princess) and Misty (a unicorn who later joins the team), each with a clear personality.
G5 Toys - Available in single sizes, there are collections like Crystal Adventure, including playsets like Zephyr Heights Castle or Friends of Maretime Bay, and special collector sets like Sparkling Generations.
