iOS 18 iPhone Layout for Fall! 🍁

I updated my iPhone to iOS 18 last week. So naturally the first thing I did was play around with the new customization options.

As we’re now in the fall season I went with a cozy orange & beige theme. I used my favorite widget app Widgy and the photos used were found on X.

It took a while but I love how it turned out! 🧡

If you're looking to create your own aesthetic iPhone home screen, especially with a cozy fall vibe, here are some tips I picked up along the way. First, let's talk about choosing your aesthetic. While I went for a warm beige and orange fall theme, iOS 18's new customization options make it easy to adapt to any style. Think about what colors make you feel good. For my fall layout, I envisioned pumpkins, warm drinks, and crunchy leaves – this helped me select my main color palette. Pinterest and Instagram are amazing resources for finding aesthetic inspiration, just search for 'fall aesthetic iPhone home screen' or 'beige aesthetic iPhone layout'. Next, widgets are your best friend! The original post mentioned Widgy, and I can't recommend it enough for creating custom widgets. It allows for incredible flexibility, from showing photos to displaying personalized information. But don't stop there! For a truly integrated look, I also explored iScreen for custom control center elements and even simple photo widgets from Apple's own Photos app. These are perfect for adding personal touches like a favorite fall snapshot or a motivational quote. Remember how the OCR mentioned flexible icon placement? iOS 18 truly shines here. You're no longer confined to a rigid grid, which means you can strategically place your Widgy widgets and app icons to create visual breathing room and a much cleaner look. I found myself playing around with different layouts, leaving gaps to highlight my favorite widgets. Finding the right wallpapers and app icons is crucial for tying everything together. For my fall-themed wallpaper, I looked for images with warm tones, subtle patterns, and seasonal elements like leaves or cozy textures. You can find high-quality images on platforms like Unsplash, Pexels, or even by searching on X (formerly Twitter) for specific aesthetic keywords. For app icons, you can either use custom icon packs (often found on Etsy or via aesthetic blogs) or use Shortcuts to create custom app icons with images that match your theme. It takes a little time, but the result is a truly unique aesthetic phone layout. Finally, don't be afraid to experiment! What started as a simple update to iOS 18 turned into a fun project. I changed my mind several times about where to put certain apps or what information to display on my widgets. The beauty of iOS 18 is how easy it is to tweak things until you achieve that perfect balance of functionality and aesthetic appeal. Whether you're aiming for a minimalist beige aesthetic iPhone home screen or a vibrant, colorful setup, the tools are now at your fingertips. Happy customizing!
