My Faith Journal
💛Good Sunday Morning
Im sharing the blessings of journaling/reading to build your spiritual garden. Here I share with you a book I created called Faith in Our Footsteps breaking down how I journal daily starting with the Gratitude, SOAP Method, and Prayer List, and I've included encouraging words throughout to keep you going. Typo inside, (incorporate, incoparte) even though we may try to be perfect we are not and do make mistakes. I start my morning journaling this way and wanted to share this with all of you.
💛If you’re new to the SOAP Method I’ve broken it down here:
SOAP Method (Scripture , Observation, Application, Prayer).
~Scripture: Write out the Scripture that you are studying.
~Observation: Write what you observed from the scripture that stood out to you.
~Application: Applying the verse to your life. How are you going to incorporate this into your life moving forward?
~Prayer: The Armour Against All Trials. Take this time to pray on the scripture and let God guide you.
💛 Stay Happy Healthy and Loved.

Journaling is a powerful tool for nurturing spiritual growth, and the Faith in Our Footsteps book offers a straightforward approach with its focus on gratitude, the SOAP Method, and prayer lists. The SOAP Method, consisting of Scripture, Observation, Application, and Prayer, encourages a personal and reflective way to study the Bible. Writing out Scripture helps you internalize the Word, while observing the passage allows you to note key insights and lessons. Application is especially important because it challenges you to think about practical ways to live out the teachings in your daily life. This step bridges the gap between reading and living with intention. Prayer then acts as a spiritual armor, inviting guidance and strength to face life's challenges. Including a gratitude section further enhances this practice by fostering a mindset of thankfulness and positivity. This daily habit not only cultivates awareness of blessings but also helps maintain a hopeful and joyful spirit. The prayer list component adds another layer by allowing you to track prayer requests and answers, reinforcing faith through tangible evidence of spiritual support. An important point mentioned is embracing imperfections—such as typos—in your journaling, which reflects the authentic and personal nature of this practice. Journaling isn’t about perfection but about honest expression and growth. Many have found that integrating this method into their mornings sets a peaceful, focused tone for the day. It’s a way to start with intention, deepen understanding, and maintain connection to faith throughout daily life. Whether you’re new to journaling or looking to deepen your practice, adopting the SOAP method and gratitude journaling can transform your spiritual routine and cultivate a stronger, more vibrant faith journey.
