The craziest Chrome Hearts piece I’ve ever owed
This gold Chrome Hearts Flame Cross was commissioned by me nearly ten years ago.
It's the center-diamond version, and at the time, nothing like this really existed. An oversized gold Flame Cross was already uncommon — adding a large center stone made the project even more complicated.
The pendant is incredibly heavy, so I had the chain reinforced specifically for it. I didn't want it to be merely wearable. The proportions, weight, balance, and overall feel all had to be right.
I still have every email, production photo, and message from the entire process.
Finding the center stone alone took time. In fact, the planning and communication lasted much longer than the actual production.
The craftsman had never made an oversized gold Flame Cross with a center diamond before, so much of the project involved solving problems as they came up.
That's why I've never viewed it as just another piece of jewelry.
To me, it's a one-of-one piece that I helped bring to life.
