... Read moreIt's common to come across chain messages claiming that forwarding them to a certain number of people will bring blessings or luck. Many wonder if there is a biblical basis for such practices. From personal experience, I can share that faith and blessings are deeply personal and cannot be quantified or guaranteed through sharing social media posts or chain messages. Reflecting on the content seen in many social platforms and TikTok, like the post humorously stating "ME TRYING TO FIND WHERE THE BIBLE SAYS... FORWARD THIS MESSAGE TO 20 PEOPLE & YOU WILL BE BLESS WHAK LUCK!", it’s clear this is meant to highlight the absurdity of these chain messages. The Bible emphasizes a personal relationship with God and trust in His promises rather than relying on rituals or spreading superstitions. In my own journey of faith, I’ve found that real spiritual growth happens through prayer, reading scriptures, and living according to God’s teachings—not by forwarding messages or participating in social media challenges. It’s important to be 'breezy' about these things and not feel compelled or pressured to share for fear of missing out on blessings. Ultimately, what God has planned for each person is unique and independent of these viral social media trends. Encouraging others to focus on meaningful spiritual practices rather than forwarding chain messages can promote a healthier and more genuine faith experience.
