Sugared Cranberries
First time ever making these and might I say, they are FANTASTIC.
1-bag fresh Cranberries
1-cup Sugar (you’re going to save 1/2 cup for tossing.)
1/2-cup water
Boil 1/2 cup water and sugar until sugar is dissolved. Take off heat. Cool to room temperature. Put bag of cranberries in the mix (after you have washed them and taken out the bad ones)
Line a cookie sheet with foil or parchment paper. Put a cooling rack over that. After coating all the cranberries really well, use a slotted spoon to remove them from the mixture and put on the rack. Put in the fridge for like 15 minutes until they feel sticky. Remove them, toss them in the remaining 1/2 cup sugar. Put back on rack, then in fridge for an hour. Put in airtight container in fridge. They will last about a week in the fridge.
I’m using them for WHITE CRANBERRY MIMOSAS on Christmas morning ❤️
