2025 Mintgreen Planner Walkthrough!
I definitely was excited to begin using this planner. My single two complaints are the thinness of the paper, & once you get to the back of the planner it is harder to turn the pages because of the wired rings. Regardless, definitely a wonderful planner!
I bought this at Walmart, for $8.94. If you’re a girl like me who needs everything to be documented and planned, this is definitely something to consider purchasing.
After snagging my 2025 Mintgreen Planner from Walmart, I couldn't wait to dive in! For just $8.94, it’s truly a steal, especially if you're like me and need every detail of your life mapped out. While the original review touched on the paper thinness and wired rings, I wanted to share a deeper dive into how I’m making this planner work for me, and why it's still a fantastic budget-friendly option. One thing many new users might notice is the paper quality. Yes, it's a bit thin, and I experienced some pen bleed-through, especially with gel pens or heavier markers. My solution? I stick to fine-tip ballpoint pens or specific mild highlighters that are known for minimal bleed. Another trick is to place a piece of scrap paper behind the page you're writing on. It's a small adjustment, but it makes a big difference. I also appreciate that this planner uses soy-based ink and 60% recycled materials – it feels good to use something a little more eco-conscious, even if the paper isn’t the thickest. What I really love about this Mintgreen planner are the comprehensive layouts. The monthly overview for each month, like January 2025, gives you a bird's eye view, perfect for noting big appointments or deadlines. Then, the weekly spreads, covering dates like December 2024 through January 2025, offer ample space for daily tasks, work schedules, and personal notes. The 'JANUARY NOTES' page with both square grid and lined sections right after the monthly view is genius! I use the grid for habit tracking and the lines for brain-dumping ideas for the month ahead. The cute pastel-colored tabs for each month make navigation super easy, too. Beyond the standard layouts, this planner really impressed me with its extra features. The '2025/2026 SCHEDULE' page is a lifesaver for students or anyone with recurring appointments, allowing you to map out your routine for multiple semesters. I'm also a huge fan of the dedicated 'goals and gratitude page' – it’s a wonderful way to reflect and set intentions. You also get different types of note pages with boxes, lines, and dots, which is perfect for creative planning or just jotting down random thoughts. Plus, there are specific pages for 'important dates' and 'holidays and birthdays,' ensuring you never miss a special occasion. Even with the wired rings making page-turning a little tricky at the back, a gentle hand and careful use prevent any issues. For its price point, the thoughtful design and inclusion of these diverse pages make it an excellent choice for keeping your life organized without breaking the bank!
