Resigned from his job without a job.

But find a new job in three weeks. What to do? 👀

Resignation without a new job is a very challenging decision, especially when the economy is poor, jobs are scarce, and we have no idea what will happen after this.

But finally, we found a new job in three weeks.

So I want to share what I'm doing. In case it's helpful to people who are looking for a job or are hesitating.

📌 1. Before resigning, what are we prepared?

• Reserves for unemployment

We only prepare for about 1 month, but I personally recommend that if possible, at least 3 months.

• Resume / Portfolio Update

• Clear list of areas you want to go on

📌 2. The main job search channel we use.

• JobBKK

The web that we use to apply quite often, a lot of work, updates all the time, just have a resume, and the company can contact back.

• Jobs DB

I personally felt that there was a lot of creative, marketing or foreign company work, and we were contacted back from this channel as well.

• Facebook Group

Especially creative job groups. Some companies do not go to the main job search web, but instead post in the group, giving the opportunity to talk directly to HR or the owner of the company and respond quite quickly.

📌 3. Do not sow a single-file resume for all companies.

We do not use a single Resume, apply everywhere, but it will adjust the details more closely to each company's job title and JD.

This over here allows HR to see that we're really interested in that position and increase the likelihood of being called for more interviews.

📌 4. How to get through the interview technique?

There were about five interviewing companies, but we only picked two places and passed both places (Thailand 1 / English 1).

What we do is

• Read JD carefully

• List of questions you think you should be asked

• Rehearse to answer without memorizing. Answer from your own understanding.

We choose to rehearse the interview with ChatGPT, hahahaha.

The most important thing for us is "confidence."

Even if excited, try to answer every question. Even if you find a question other than the rehearsal, don't die, Mike. 😂

If you're looking for a job right now, don't insult yourself just for not getting a job.

Sometimes it's just "haven't found the right place yet."
