First impressions aren’t usually quite right…
When I tell people I’m setting out to self study the classics, they usually picture Jane Austin novels, cozy English cottages, and afternoon tea. And while there’s nothing wrong with that (if that’s your cup of tea, go for it!), it’s not exactly what I mean by ‘classics’.
What I’m studying is a little… older. Think Ancient Greece and Rome, Homer, Plato, the great writings and minds of the ancient western world that formed the foundation for western culture and literature.
