Witchcraft as a beginner
For the majority of my life I had been curious about witches. Kikis Delivery Service and Magical Do Re Mi had me in a chokhold growing up and I wanted to become a witch sense. But as life continued, I mostly chalked it up to "Well their just fairytales. 🤷🏿♀️"
That fairy tale veil was uncovered as I went into Barnes and Noble one day and saw a whole section dedicated to witchcraft. And living in a mostly Mormon and Christian community, I was surprised to see this there. But the biggest revelation to me was, "Oh my god! Witches are real!"
After browsing and skimming through several books, this book by Thorn Mooney just called to me. I've been reading it since summer, but only the last couple of months are actually getting to put my full energy towards it. And I read it at just the perfect time in my life. Job Loss, Financial struggle, spiritual confusion, and fear written for the future. I'm finally learning to let go and put my energy and spirit into making my house a home.
Any other witches out there that want to give a newbie some pointers or any resources that I should try. I'm actually wanting to perfect my craft and be more intune with my mind and spirit. So far, it's the most spiritually free I've ever been in my life.
