What a journey

Every now and then I need the reminder that progress is hard to see when you’re living it every day.

These pictures are years apart and they represent so much more than weight loss.

They represent choosing myself, learning consistency, becoming a healthier mama for my six babies, and proving to myself that I could do something I once thought was IMPOSSIBLE.

I’m not at my goal yet, but I’m a whole lot closer than I used to be.

If you’re struggling today, don’t give up. Keep showing up. Your future self will be so thankful you did. 🌻🦋

... Read moreThroughout my journey towards better health and consistency, I've realized that small, sustainable changes make the biggest impact over time. One strategy that truly helped me was prioritizing simple, nutritious meals — like incorporating oatmeal into my breakfast routine. Quaker Oats, for instance, became a staple because they’re easy to prepare, nutritious, and provide lasting energy to keep me active throughout the day. Beyond diet, I focused on celebrating daily victories rather than just the end goal. On tough days, I reminded myself that consistency beats perfection; showing up and making healthy choices, even small ones, compounds over time into significant progress. As a mother of six, balancing family life with self-care wasn’t easy, but making the decision to choose myself was empowering. I also found that connecting with others who share similar struggles and goals — whether through hashtags like #myjourney and #consistency or local support groups — created a sense of accountability and encouragement that kept me motivated. If you’re feeling stuck or overwhelmed, remember that progress is not always immediately visible, especially when you’re living each day in the process. Trust the journey, be kind to yourself, and know that each step forward brings you closer to becoming a healthier and stronger version of yourself. Your future self will be grateful for every effort you make today.
