CVS Finds & Favorites
Hey Girl Heyy!! I went into CVS to pick up some essentials, now personally CVS is on the pricey side, in my humble opinion, But if I get good coupons or they have a good promo going, I’m pulling up!! And on this occasion I had that 40% off coupon that always serves me right, so here we are 😂. Now I’ll start with my Favs:
The wet n wild eyeliners $3.99/ea I got the Fine Lines felt tip eyeliner in Dark Brown & the H2O proof liquid liner in Black. I also picked up their Mega Volume waterproof Mascara for $3.99 as well. Back in high school when I was first getting into makeup I humbly started with wet n wild and nyx cosmetics because they were affordable and they served their purpose and as a creature of habit I stick with what works and this brand still serves me well. I have since graduated to some more upscale brands but these are staples. Don’t despise humble beginnings 😉
Now for the “finds”:
The Unders period panties. They were originally 29.99 however I got them on sale for $11.99 due to the CVS promo sale. Now I have never tried period panties but I know many women who have and give good reviews on and report feeling not only comfortable but confident so with the sale price I was willing to give them a try. During that time of the month I typically want to feel clean, comfortable, and secure so I’ll see what they’re giving. If you’ve tried them please share your experience!
I also came across a new or new to me cosmetic brand “the CRÈME shop”. The had some cute lippies: stains, glossses, and lipstick 💄. I picked up two stains: Lip Juice Stain in the shade “strawberry feels forever” which is supposed to be 12+ hr stain. Retailed $9.99, I tried this one on and this far it’s held up through breakfast and doesn’t make my lips feel dried out. I’m wearing the shade in the above pic and it is pigmented (note I am wearing lip liner). I also picked up the Crème shop Universtain Lip Tint in the shade “shake Your Ruby”. Retails for 11.99 but CVS promo I got it for 50% off. I can’t wait to try it on too. This brand advertises as cruelty free!

Hey everyone! Following up on my last CVS haul, I wanted to dive a bit deeper into how I make the most of my trips and find those hidden gems, especially when it comes to beauty and personal care. It’s true that CVS can sometimes feel a bit pricey, but with the right strategy, it becomes a treasure trove for affordable essentials. Beyond the Wet n Wild and Crème Shop finds I shared, CVS is a goldmine for other budget-friendly makeup brands. Think along the lines of e.l.f. Cosmetics, NYX Professional Makeup, and Essence – all offer fantastic quality without breaking the bank. I always keep an eye out for their weekly ad and stack those digital coupons with my ExtraCare card to snag incredible deals. Seriously, pairing a 40% off coupon with a sale price? That's how you win at CVS shopping! But it's not just about makeup. Skincare is equally important, and CVS has a great selection of skincare essentials that won't empty your wallet. I often pick up my favorite gentle cleansers and moisturizers from brands like CeraVe or Cetaphil right there. Don't forget the basics, like good quality cotton pads for face – essential for applying toner or removing makeup efficiently. They often have store-brand options that are just as good as the pricier ones! And speaking of smart shopping, have you ever noticed the CVS Mini Hall? It's usually a dedicated section filled with travel-sized versions of popular products. These CVS minis are fantastic for testing out new products before committing to a full size, or perfect for when you're packing for a trip. I've discovered so many new favorites this way, from mini shampoos to tiny lotions. It’s a great way to try out a product without the upfront investment. Let's talk a bit more about period care. My experience trying the Unders period panties was a game-changer, and it got me thinking about how CVS is also a reliable spot for all kinds of first period box essentials or just general period supplies. From tampons and pads to heating patches and pain relievers, they truly have everything you might need to feel comfortable during that time of the month. Sometimes you can even find specific coupons for personal care items, like a rash guard cleansing wipes coupon, which can make managing your period even more affordable. My biggest tip for CVS shopping is always to check your app for personalized coupons and ExtraBucks before you go. You'd be surprised what kind of savings you can unlock. Happy hauling, everyone!
