God is with us.

Jesus starts all things and ends all things because He is the Alpha and Omega. He was there in the beginning when the world was created. His return will begin the end of this world and start the beginning of the new world. He partners with the Holy Spirit in bringing the Father’s divine will into being. Jesus prayed the Father would send us the Holy Spirit for five main reasons. 1 - to act as a Comforter who abides with us throughout all phases of life. 2 - to act as a seal showing the world and the fallen we belong to Christ. 3 - to be the down payment or deposit signifying Christ will return to reclaim us and take us home to Heaven one day. 4 - to guide us into becoming more like Christ so we can truly become one with Him. 5 - to teach us and remind us of all the things Christ said. The Holy Spirit is more than a feeling. He’s the Spirit that walks us into all truth, the wisdom that opens the eyes of our understanding, the intercessor who searches the depths of our hearts and shares with the Father what He found. He too was there in the beginning. And He is with us now.

The Holy Spirit isn’t merely an abstract concept or a fleeting sensation but a continuous companion who comforts in moments of hardship and guides us toward truth. One aspect I’ve found particularly encouraging is understanding the Holy Spirit as both a seal and a guarantee of our belonging to Christ. This realization helps me rest in the assurance that my faith is recognized and secured by God himself, which brings immense peace amid uncertainty. Moreover, experiencing the Holy Spirit’s guidance helps me grow spiritually and align more closely with the character of Christ. This transformative process is gradual but felt deeply as the Spirit teaches and reminds me of Jesus’ teachings, reinforcing my daily decisions with wisdom and clarity. The Holy Spirit also acts as an intercessor, delving into the heart’s depths during prayer, even when words fail. This intercession feels deeply personal and powerful, connecting my innermost thoughts and struggles directly with God the Father. Remembering that both Jesus as the Alpha and Omega and the Holy Spirit were present at creation and remain active in today’s world anchors my faith in an unchanging divine presence. This gives hope that no matter life’s challenges, God is always with us, orchestrating our path towards a new beginning beyond this world.
