My season is now.
Since Christ loves me beyond what I know or understand, He has the power to construct blessings for me that are greater than what I can think or imagine. Now knowing this makes it utterly senseless for me to try to configure my own blessings through my own efforts and resources. I’ll never construct a blessing as big as what God already planned for me. So I’m learning to rest and cease from my works, so God can bless me with what He wants for me, which is greater than what I want for myself. There comes a time when you become too tired of chasing things, and you resolve if God wants me to have it, He’ll bring it to me. It’s not about giving up or learning to settle and live life without what you want or need. It’s about maturing to realize you can’t control circumstances in your life or produce what you really need. It’s about accepting God has more resources in His hands than the ones He has placed in mine. It’s learning to accept the idea that if God birthed the vision, He’d responsible for manifesting it.
Ephesians 3:20-21 (NIV) Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
