My season is now.
Since Christ loves me beyond what I know or understand, He has the power to construct blessings for me that are greater than what I can think or imagine. Now knowing this makes it utterly senseless for me to try to configure my own blessings through my own efforts and resources. I’ll never construct a blessing as big as what God already planned for me. So I’m learning to rest and cease from my works, so God can bless me with what He wants for me, which is greater than what I want for myself. There comes a time when you become too tired of chasing things, and you resolve if God wants me to have it, He’ll bring it to me. It’s not about giving up or learning to settle and live life without what you want or need. It’s about maturing to realize you can’t control circumstances in your life or produce what you really need. It’s about accepting God has more resources in His hands than the ones He has placed in mine. It’s learning to accept the idea that if God birthed the vision, He’d responsible for manifesting it.
Ephesians 3:20-21 (NIV) Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
Understanding that I can never build something through my own efforts that surpasses what God has planned is a transformative realization. It’s tempting to believe that hard work alone can shape our destiny, but I’ve found that surrendering control and trusting in God’s timing brings a peace that effort alone can’t provide. At times, life may feel like a constant chase—whether for success, relationships, or personal goals. But as I matured in faith, I realized that pushing for outcomes often leads to exhaustion and frustration. Instead, I began pausing to reflect: If God truly birthed the vision in my heart, then He is the one responsible for manifesting it according to His perfect timing and abundant resources. This shift isn’t about giving up or settling for less—it’s about recognizing that God’s blessings are immeasurably greater than what I can imagine or ask for. By ceasing from trying to force things, I’ve experienced a deeper rest, knowing that His power is at work within me, as echoed in Ephesians 3:20-21. This scripture is a constant reminder that God is able to do more than I could ever plan, and to Him alone belongs the glory. Reflecting on the quote, "I can never build something through my own efforts that is bigger than what God has planned to give me," reinforces this truth daily. Embracing this perspective transformed my approach to challenges, stressing less about control, and more about faith and patience. If you're feeling fatigued from chasing dreams alone, try resting in the confidence that God has a greater plan. Trust that He knows the best timing and has the resources to bless you beyond your efforts. This mindset nurtures maturity, peace, and a joyful expectation that your season truly is now—defined not by your striving but by God’s abundant provision.
