This experience also reminds me of the importance of appreciating dry, cozy moments and the warmth of shelter. It encourages taking time to care for ourselves after a challenging moment, whether that means grabbing a hot drink, changing into dry clothes, or simply reflecting on the event with a positive outlook. Embracing wet and stormy days with a mindset that they are just part of life’s journey allows us to build emotional resilience.
