Artist name in last panel I dub both voices
Hey everyone! So thrilled to share my latest comic dub with you all, featuring none other than the Great Papyrus and his pun-loving brother, Sans! When I first saw this Jumbletale comic, I knew I just had to bring it to life with my voice. There's something so magical about diving into the world of Undertale and interpreting these beloved characters. For this particular dub, I took on the challenge of voicing both Papyrus and Sans. It's always a fun exercise to switch between their distinct personalities – Papyrus's boisterous enthusiasm and Sans's laid-back, witty charm. Getting Papyrus's 'OH BOY!! FINALLY, THE HUMAN INTERNETS' line just right was a blast. You can almost hear his genuine excitement to interact with the online world, confident in his coolness. And then, of course, Sans swoops in with that classic skeleton pun that just gets under Papyrus's skin! 'so if you're a skeleton, how come puns get under your skin?' – classic Sans, right? Doing comic dubs like this isn't just about reading lines; it's about capturing the emotion and humor that the original artist put into their work. You really have to get into character. For Papyrus, it's all about projecting that grand, almost theatrical presence, even when he's getting 'trolled' by his brother. And for Sans, it’s about that dry, understated delivery that makes his jokes land perfectly. It was particularly fun to voice Papyrus's dramatic reaction to Sans's trolling: 'THE ONLINE TROLL HAS RETURNED TO BESIEGE MY PERSONA!! I'M TURNING OFF ANONYMOUS!!!!!' – such a relatable internet moment, even for a skeleton! If you're thinking about trying your hand at voiceovers or comic dubs, I totally encourage it! It's a fantastic way to engage with your favorite fandoms and express your creativity. Start with characters you love and try to emulate their voices, but don't be afraid to put your own spin on it. There are so many amazing fan comics out there, just waiting for a voice. I often look for comics that have expressive characters and clear dialogue, like this one from Jumbletale. Remember, practice makes perfect, and having fun is the most important part. The Undertale community is so vibrant, and sharing fan creations like this comic dub feels like a way to contribute to that incredible energy. It's amazing how a game can inspire so much creativity, from art to music to voice acting. The dynamic between Papyrus and Sans, in particular, offers endless comedic possibilities. Their brotherly banter is just gold, and seeing it play out in fan comics and then bringing it to life with voice is incredibly rewarding. I hope this dub brings a smile to your face and reminds you why we all love these quirky skeleton brothers. Let me know in the comments what your favorite part was, or if you have any other Undertale comics you'd love to hear dubbed! What kind of internet adventures do you think Papyrus would really get into if he spent more time online? Maybe he'd start a cooking channel, or a puzzle-solving stream! The possibilities are endless when you have enthusiastic characters like these. Keep an eye out for more voiceover projects from me – I'm always looking for new stories to tell!
