Day in My Life- Toddler Edition

Welcome to a day in my three year old son’s life!

We’re just now starting a pre-pre-k program so our schedule is pretty flexible and we go with the flow. I like to write out my schedule the night before and attempt to follow it loosely. I don’t stress myself out about having things exactly to the minute. 🌞

My son is on the autism spectrum so we have therapy three times a week. We really love therapy days! It gives us a chance to get out of the house.

We also watched Moana and took a nap! Outfit changes because we’re going through a phase of spitting water 🤦🏻‍♀️

Grateful for every day with my kiddo 🫶🏼

... Read moreParenting a toddler presents unique challenges and joys. As your toddler grows, communication becomes crucial. Engage them with interactive storytelling, encouraging imagination and language skills. Playtime is vital, so incorporate educational games that stimulate creativity and problem-solving. Consider scheduling regular therapy sessions as they not only promote development but can also enhance social skills crucial for a well-rounded childhood. Remember, every moment counts; ensure to capture these delightful snippets of life through pictures or a journal, cherishing their growth. Moreover, allow flexibility in their routine—sometimes spontaneity brings out the best adventures. Networking with other parents can also provide valuable insights and experiences, enhancing your journey through toddlerhood. Finally, practice self-care, as nurturing your own well-being ensures you can be the supportive parent your child needs. Finding joy in each day, even with its ups and downs, fosters a warm and encouraging home environment.
