Take your meds!!
Hey, y’all!
It’s that time again! Let’s take our daily doses of medication as prescribed to us! If you don’t take medicine, that’s okay. Grab your supplements and take those!
Medications and vitamins/supplements help you to be the best version of you, and you deserve to be the best version of you!
If you’ve been following along, I recently had a medication issue. I approached my nurse practitioner and explained to her my symptoms, my thoughts, and my feelings. She agreed to bump up my antipsychotic. I’ve been on the new dose a few days now and it’s helping!
If you are having a medication issue, or if you believe you should be on medication even if you aren’t currently, please approach the appropriate member of your care team and discuss your concerns.
Whew, I talk a lot. In case you’ve forgotten, let’s take our morning dose of meds together right now 🌞

Taking your medications as prescribed is vital for maintaining your health, especially for managing mental health conditions. Medications can greatly improve your quality of life, but consistency is key. It's crucial to regularly take your prescriptions and not skip doses, as this can lead to ineffective treatment. In addition to medicines, supplements can offer additional health benefits, providing essential nutrients that might be lacking in your diet. Always consult with a healthcare professional before starting any supplements to ensure they align with your health needs. Engaging in conversations with your medical team about your medications can lead to better tailored healthcare plans. If you are experiencing side effects or feel that your current dosage isn't effective, don't hesitate to reach out. Openness and honesty about your health journey can empower you and foster better care. Furthermore, staying educated on your conditions and treatment options can make a significant difference. Sharing experiences with others can also provide support and encouragement on this journey. Remember, prioritizing your mental and physical health by taking your medications takes strength and commitment!

Hope your having a better day today! 🥰
