How I get engagement ✨💡🌞
I hit 325k impressions! 🤯
I see a lot of posts and I get some comments looking for tips on how to boost engagement. I’m not sure what’s considered “normal” amounts of engagement. Regardless, I feel very satisfied with the amount of interaction I get on this app.
So here’s my process:
💡 Come up with a concept or idea that you like enough to want to work on.
📸 Select images to go along with the concept.
✍️ Write the caption first, then the title! Fill your caption with relevant words, phrases, and use all the hashtags. Work your title from there.
👩🏻💻 After you’re satisfied with your title, revisit your image(s) selected. Edit the image with verbiage similar to the title, add outlines and stickers, make a collage if you’re feeling crafty about it.
👀 Review, reread, revise if needed. Don’t be afraid to rephrase things or make edits to see how they affect the overall flow of your content. I do all my editing here on 🍋8 which is very convenient.
⏳ Give it time! I’ve noticed that engagement on this app doesn’t tend to happen immediately. However, I’m still getting engagement on some of the first posts I made a month or two ago.
🫶🏼 Return the energy!!! When someone comments, comment back. If someone follows you, check out their page and see what kind of engagement you can return. Following back is great but I personally only follow back accounts that seem like legit creators. I try to keep my for you feed free of spam so that I know I’m giving and receiving legitimate engagement.
💪🏻 KEEP ON POSTING. Don’t give up! Keep it consistent and casual, don’t place high expectations on yourself, and you’ll be golden!
If anyone has suggestions on how I could revise my process, I’m totally open to hearing them! I just wanted to share what content creation looks like for me, and the results I have seen from it. I hope if anyone out there is struggling to see results, they are able to read this post and boost their engagement.
