she couldn’t breathe through her nose until now

Burbank

... Read moreIf you're anything like I was, struggling to breathe through your nose day in and day out, you know how utterly frustrating and exhausting it can be. For so long, I couldn't breathe through my nose, and it affected everything – my sleep, my energy, even my ability to focus. It's not just a minor inconvenience; it's a huge barrier to feeling truly well. I tried countless remedies, from sprays to decongestants, but nothing offered lasting relief. The constant feeling of being somewhat suffocated, or like I was 'drowning' just trying to get enough air, was something I thought I'd just have to live with. That was until I discovered a lesser-known, yet incredibly effective treatment called Cranial Facial Release (CFR), sometimes also referred to as Nasal Specific adjustments. I'd seen a few things online, maybe even caught a glimpse on Instagram, and honestly, I was skeptical. It sounded a bit 'out there' to me, but at that point, I was desperate for any solution that promised I could finally breathe clearly. My search for 'breath nose' solutions led me down many rabbit holes, but this one felt different. So, what exactly is it? From my understanding, CFR involves gently adjusting the bones in your skull and face, particularly around the nasal passages. The idea is that misalignments can restrict airflow, and by correcting these, your body can function optimally. It's a non-surgical approach that aims to restore proper breathing mechanics. I learned that sometimes, what feels like congestion isn't just mucus, but structural issues or pressure points. The practitioner uses a small 'balloon' – which sounds intimidating, but it's very controlled – to open up those passages. This is where the mention of 'balloons' from my experience comes in. It's not as scary as it sounds, I promise! My experience with the treatment was definitely unique. When I first tried it, it was a bit 'uncomfortable,' to say the least. There's a moment during the procedure where it truly feels like you're 'drowning for like two seconds.' It's intense, and you think, 'Oh my God, what have I done?' But then, almost immediately, it's over. And that's when the magic happened. The sensation of all the air 'totally running, rushing to my brain' was absolutely incredible. It was like a dam had burst, and suddenly, I could feel every part of my nasal passages open up. 'So good' doesn't even begin to cover it. The relief was instantaneous and profound. What surprised me even more was how it also helped with other issues I hadn't directly associated with my breathing. I'd been dealing with TMJ pain for a while, and surprisingly, the cranial adjustments seemed to alleviate some of that tension too. I remember thinking, 'This is way worse than the balloons,' when thinking about the TMJ pain I used to have, but the CFR made a huge difference. It made me realize how interconnected everything in our head and face truly is. Since my treatment, my quality of life has dramatically improved. I sleep better, I have more energy, and I don't constantly feel the need to clear my throat or reach for tissue. If you're struggling to breathe through your nose, whether it's due to chronic congestion, structural issues, or even related TMJ discomfort, I highly recommend exploring Cranial Facial Release. It might seem unconventional, but for me, it was a life-changing solution that finally helped me breathe freely and feel like myself again. Don't give up hope; there are solutions out there!

The title slide for a post about stopping overeating, stating, "I COULDN'T STOP Eating... UNTIL I LEARNED THIS." It highlights how to stop eating out of emotion, not hunger, with a call to "SWIPE TO LEARN MORE." The background shows a desk with a plant and an open book.
This slide explains that overeating is often the brain seeking comfort, escape, stimulation, or control, not hunger. It emphasizes identifying the 'why' behind eating and notes that external cues can trigger eating without hunger. The title is "What Overeating Really is."
Titled "Emotional Eating Triggers," this slide lists signs like eating when bored/sad/anxious, feeling guilty, lacking physical hunger, and continuing to eat when full. It explains emotional eating as a learned coping mechanism, not a willpower failure, driven by emotional triggers.
