If you ever forget I’m…. Invincible
Hit by a truck had an arm stroke, had my knee bone shatter, and also my skull was split. Yet I’m still here and remember everything but getting hit by the truck. I now workout to get to having A METAL ROD for a knee. Doctors have told me I will heal. And fun fact I was told by someone I thought was a friend I will never heal and he laughed
Recovering from such traumatic injuries like a shattered knee and a split skull is a challenging journey that tests both physical and mental strength. In my experience, staying positive and committed to rehabilitation workouts has been crucial. The idea of having a metal rod inserted into the knee can sound daunting, but it’s a common and effective procedure to stabilize severe fractures and aid healing. One motivating factor has been proving the naysayers wrong, especially someone I once considered a friend who doubted my ability to heal. It taught me the importance of surrounding myself with supportive people and focusing on my own progress. The road to recovery isn’t linear; there are setbacks and tough days, but patience and persistence go a long way. Physical therapy plays a vital role, involving exercises that restore movement, strength, and function progressively. Working closely with healthcare professionals helps tailor the recovery plan to individual needs. Additionally, mental resilience is just as important—finding ways to stay motivated, whether through personal goals, sharing progress with others, or celebrating small victories. If you or someone you know faces a similar recovery path, remember that medical advancements and strong willpower can lead to successful outcomes. Despite the initial trauma and the imposed limitations, healing is possible, and life after severe injury can include strength and renewed purpose.
