How to get the most out of your iPad! ✨

If you’re just getting an iPad, want to be one of ~those~ iPad girlies, or just don’t know where to start with your iPad then here’s a perfect guide I’ve put together for you to get the most of your iPad.

Apps are what make the iPad. Your iPad has so much functionality and it’s all thanks to apps! I’ve made a list of some of the ~must have~ apps for the iPad so it can really do it all.

❣️ GoodNotes - this app is perfect for handwritten notes. I use this app for taking notes, journaling, and just writing down little things I need to remember here or there. You can have multiple notebooks, their organization system if very tidy and streamlined, and they now have an integrated flash card study system.

❣️ Notion - this is a do it all app. It provides a single space for everything - project management, to-do lists, mood/vision boards, everything. It also provides the help of AI.

❣️ Things 3 - a personal task manager and planner to help you keep on track with your day/tasks. Streamlined and beautiful to use app.

❣️ Procreate - this is THE app. Procreate is hands down the best app on the market for drawing/painting. It’s great for doodles, sketches, or full on rendered paintings. There are very few apps if any that can compare. You can even do little animations within Procreate.

❣️ Affinity Photo - this is a great alternative to photoshop as it doesn’t operate on a subscription based service and has a fully fleshed out app for the iPad.

❣️ GoodLinks - allows you to save links on Safari (or your preferred web browser) to read for later. It lets you access these links across all of your devices.

❣️ Paprika - if you enjoy cooking this app lets you easily store and organize your recipe collection. You can plan meals and even build grocery lists within the app.

❣️ Libby - if you have a public library card, this app lets you access thousands of ebooks, audiobooks, comics, magazines, and more.

❣️ Canva - a do it all design app for creating content for social media, presentations, businesses, literally anything you want. I even use it to make wallpapers for my iPad.

❣️ Feyn - a flash card system perfect for studying. However, this app allows you to make/use handwritten flash cards.

❣️ CraftDocs - a streamlined app for typed notes. Great organization and a built in AI assistant.

❣️ SigmaPlanner - this app is perfect for anyone who is still in school. An academics planner that helps you keep track of your classes, school work, and more.

❣️ ForScore - a sheet music annotation app that does a lot. One of the best on the market.

All of these apps are great for boosted productivity, organization, and fully utilizing your iPad. A few honorable mentions: Pinterest, Adobe Lightroom, and Shortcuts.

I’ve also thrown in some must have items as well as how to minimize distractions when it’s really time to lock in and focus up.

... Read moreThe iPad transforms productivity and creativity, but knowing the right apps is crucial for unlocking its full potential. Starting with GoodNotes, perfect for handwritten notes, and Notion, which combines project management with AI assistance, these apps cater to various needs. For artists, Procreate stands out as the best digital drawing app, while Affinity Photo serves as a powerful, subscription-free alternative to traditional software. Cooking enthusiasts will find Paprika invaluable for organizing recipes and building grocery lists. Utilizing GoodLinks helps manage articles for later reading, ensuring that all your interests are just a tap away. Additionally, apps like Libby connect you to your local library’s vast resources, from ebooks to audiobooks. To complement your app selection, consider essential accessories such as a protective case and a matte screen protector for enhanced usability. Moreover, to minimize distractions during focused work or study sessions, employ features like Focus mode and Guided Access on your iPad, which limit notifications and keep you locked into a single app. Remember, choosing the right tools and setting up an ideal environment can significantly enhance your experience with your iPad!
