what’s your preference?

I always had a hard time with automatic washes with belts etc. I would never get into neutral quick enough or car wash mode with role and I’d end up bouncing for a bit.

what's your preference?

Many car owners face a dilemma between opting for a hand wash or using an automatic car wash. Hand washes are often touted for their level of detail, allowing for a more personalized cleaning experience where surfaces are treated with care. Alternatively, automatic washes can offer convenience and speed, ideal for those with busy schedules. The automatic car wash process typically involves wearing brushes and rinsing systems, which can sometimes leave behind scratches or insufficient cleaning on certain vehicle surfaces. On the other hand, handwashing can thoroughly remove dirt and grime, especially from areas often missed in automatic systems, such as wheels and the undercarriage. The choice between these two methods may also depend on personal preferences and the specific condition of your vehicle. New trends like eco-friendly car washes are emerging, emphasizing sustainability in the cleaning products used. Furthermore, many car washes now offer specialized options, such as detailing services or wax applications, which can enhance the overall appearance and protection of your car's paint. Engaging in discussion with fellow car enthusiasts can also provide insight into the best practices for maintaining your vehicle's aesthetics based on their personal experiences with different wash options. Thus, whether you lean towards the convenience of automated systems or enjoy the meticulous nature of a hand wash, understanding the pros and cons of each can help in making an informed choice for your car care routine.

Hand wash! So satisfying cleaning your car by yourself and being able to detail any spots the drive in may have missed. Plus i feel way more comfortable using my own tools rather than brushes that may microscratch my car

just a heads up, you never want to use a car wash with brushes. they severely scratch your paint. either hand wash or yourself using the two bucket method, or go through an auto wash that uses just water. it won't be perfect, but it's better than nothing.
