I am totally obsessed with 𝙉𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙝 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩 by Amy Daws! This book is everything I never knew I needed in a romance—heartwarming, steamy, and full of emotional depth. Trista and Wyatt's story is a thrilling rollercoaster adventure. When they enter into a surrogacy agreement, they are both focused on their own goals. However, they soon realize their connection is undeniable, and what begins as a business arrangement quickly evolves into something much deeper.
I loved watching them navigate their complex emotions. Wyatt's tough exterior hides a vulnerable side, while Trista's humor and passion are the perfect counterbalance. The banter between these two characters is fantastic, and the slow-burn tension is just perfect. Amy Daws skillfully balances humor with emotional, heartfelt moments, making this story a joy to read. The family dynamics, especially in Wyatt's Family, added much richness to the narrative. I found myself smiling through many parts of it. It's touching, funny, and just the right amount of steamy. If you enjoy a small-town romance filled with spice and a lot of heart, you absolutely need to read this book!
🎧️Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon did a fabulous job bringing Wyatt and Trista's story to life. If you enjoy audiobooks, this was a delightful listen.

I wanted to pummel my irritating brothers when they posted their own version of a wanted ad to help me with my life.
But I can’t fault the results once the right woman lands in my lap.
Becoming a single father is not a decision I made lightly. In fact, it’s the biggest decision of my entire life.
Which is why when I interview Trista, I know she’s perfect.
She’s wild, she’s opinionated, she wears cowboy boots. Even my pet goat loves her…
She’s the exact type of person I was holding out for.
And to my great horror, I realize on our first night of attempting this baby-making dance—when the lights are low, the cheap wine is flowing and the home-insemination supplies are laid out on the kitchen counter—I want to do a lot more than just make her my surrogate.
I want to make her mine.

Okay, let's talk more about why 'Nine Month Contract' isn't just another romance, but a truly special read! I've read my fair share of contract and surrogacy romances, and what Amy Daws does with Trista and Wyatt's story is just pure magic. It's not just about a business arrangement; it's about watching two people who think they know what they want, slowly, undeniably, fall for each other against all odds. Wyatt, our grumpy mountain man, is everything you want in a broody hero. His initial 'help wanted' ad for a 'baby momma' sets the tone, but seeing him slowly melt for Trista is incredibly satisfying. And Trista? She's not just a 'curvy FMC' but a powerhouse of humor and resilience. Their banter is top-tier, and I found myself genuinely laughing out loud at their exchanges. The slow burn here is exquisite – Daws really makes you feel every step of their emotional journey, from a professional agreement to deep, undeniable love. The small-town setting adds so much charm and warmth. It truly feels like a community, especially with Wyatt's 'rowdy brothers' and the whole 'found family' vibe. It gives their burgeoning relationship a real sense of belonging and stakes. If you're into age gap romances, this one handles it beautifully, focusing on compatibility and connection rather than just the age difference itself. Plus, the spice? It's perfectly woven into the emotional narrative, enhancing their chemistry rather than just being there for shock value. And for my fellow audiobook lovers, you absolutely have to listen to this one! Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon, who narrate Trista and Wyatt, deliver such an immersive experience. Their performances bring so much life to the characters, making their emotional arcs and witty dialogue even more impactful. Hearing Wyatt's grumbles and Trista's spirited comebacks truly elevates the story. It felt like I was right there in the mountains with them, experiencing every laugh and heartwarming moment. This is easily one of my favorite audiobook listens of the year, perfectly capturing the heart and humor of Amy Daws' writing. If you're on the hunt for a romance that combines heartwarming moments with genuine emotion, fantastic characters, and a unique take on the surrogacy trope, 'Nine Month Contract' is your next read. It checks all the boxes for a truly satisfying grumpy/sunshine, small-town romance with plenty of spice and heart. Trust me, you won't regret diving into Trista and Wyatt's unforgettable story!
