GRADUATION IS FINALLY HERE ‼️
In literally FOUR DAYS, on Thursday, December 19, 2024, I will OFFICIALLY be a GEORGIA STATE UNIVERSITY GRADUATE‼️ I will finally be receiving my Bachelors Degree in Film and Media after a long, bittersweet and tiresome road filled with happiness, laughter, smiles, sadness, tears, doubts, discouragement, times of not wanting to do an assignment, or go to class, or just call it quit, procrastination, but more importantly I DID IT‼️ I FINISHED‼️ I CONQUERED‼️
Next stop: GOING FULL TIME IN THE FILM INDUSTRY AS A PRODUCER 😊😊😊😊

WORKING ON PUBLISHING MY THIRD BOOK…. That i am currently working on chapter 2 😭😭😭😭 Im trying yall writing a book takes a lot lol

Through it all, I made it through! But this journey wouldn’t have been possible without a few people:
God: Whew! He was there through it all!
Parents: Getting lectured about not finishing an assignment thats due in 10 minutes
(yes my dad literally lectured me about procrastination for like 30 minutes each time I was pushing the 11:59 deadline 🙄) that’s why I didn’t answer his call on last Saturday when he called me 😭 I was not about to let him lecture me at all on that good Saturday)
My Aunt and Uncle: I can write a dissertation about them lol 😂 but they didn’t lecture me as much as my dad did so they okay.
Mustufa: My number 1 man! My fur bestie! My cuddle buddy. 🐶💕

This final semester, was crucial due to me getting a medical disability at no fault of my own, but that challenge only made me stronger.

As I prepare to graduate from Georgia State University on December 19, 2024, I can't help but reflect on the incredible journey I've experienced. Graduating from college is a significant milestone that many students work tirelessly to achieve. It symbolizes personal growth, resilience, and the pursuit of knowledge amid life's hurdles. Over the years, college has been filled with unforgettable moments—late-night study sessions, vibrant campus events, and forging lasting friendships. The film and media program at GSU has prepared me for the competitive film industry, equipping me with crucial skills in storytelling, production, and collaboration. With my degree in hand, I'm ready to embrace exciting opportunities in filmmaking and beyond. In addition to stepping into the film industry, I am also working hard to publish my third book, a process that challenges my creativity and dedication. Writing, much like filmmaking, demands discipline, patience, and a willingness to learn from feedback. Moreover, I’m eager to take on more clients with my production company, DRIP Productions, further expanding my professional network. This journey wouldn't have been possible without the unwavering support from friends, family, and mentors who have guided me along the way. They've been my cheerleaders during challenging times and have celebrated my successes with joy. As I close this chapter, I look forward to new adventures while always cherishing the memories I made at GSU. Here's to the future—may it be filled with inspiring stories waiting to be created!
