Like noticing everyday things — such as a missing 'm' in a sign spelling 'BSD' instead of 'BDSM' or imagining how much sex someone must have had to look younger than their age — become material that entertains and educates. If you’re thinking about trying open mic nights yourself, remember it’s okay to feel nervous and to even ask people not to come if it helps ease the pressure.
