Like it’s too much.

I had to take a minute and look at pics from our recent trips tonight to decompress.

Nothing’s bad. It’s just a lot. Too much on my plate.

You know the ones that are spinning 🤦🏼‍♀️.

I can’t tap into my best energy if I’m in freak out mode.

So I use systems get back into focus mode quickly. Well tomorrow, because time to get quiet for sleeps.

Save this if you’re stressed and feel like a stroll in a Caribbean breeze is just what the doctor ordered.

I’ve experienced that overwhelmed sensation firsthand—where everything seems too much, and your best energy feels just out of reach. One of the most helpful strategies I’ve adopted is intentionally pausing to take a 'minute' for myself. This pause can be as simple as looking through photos from happier times, like trips to sunny beaches or peaceful nature walks. It’s amazing how just recalling those moments can help soothe the mind. Beyond these small breaks, establishing clear routines or systems is key to regaining focus. For example, I plan to get quiet before sleep to calm my racing thoughts. Setting a consistent bedtime routine helps me transition out of 'freak out mode' and into a state where I can recharge properly. When feeling overwhelmed, this helps to reset both my mental and physical energy. If you’re feeling stressed, I highly recommend visualizing a calming place—like being on a Caribbean beach with a gentle breeze. Sometimes, just imagining yourself in that soothing environment brings immediate relief. Pairing this mental imagery with slow, deep breaths can anchor you back to the present moment. Ultimately, taking these small steps to decompress is not about ignoring the to-do list but about creating the mental space you need to tackle it effectively. Remember, it’s okay to press pause, breathe, and find your calm before jumping back into the hustle.
